Santa's Land?

Santa's Land?
Well, this was fun. I haven't scanned slides before, so I got to learn how this week, in order to post this to Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of ""slides."
This is my husband's grandfather, Harry King, and his cousin, Jonathan Draudt, about 1961.
I think it's taken at Santa's Land in southern Vermont (Putney?) but not certain.
Love the guy with the pipe, loafers, and camera. : )

Alan Mays, corduroy cat, Angelica Paez have particularly liked this photo

Actually, they're probably too short for Bermudas - but still...

Check Mr Loafer's toy-camera! It's clear that his wife does all the serious shooting.

1. The camera in question is a Kodak Brownie Holiday, designed by Arthur H Crapsey. (sic!)
2. Check the placement of the Kodak logo - your slide is reversed from left to right.

Well I told you all this was my first slide upload! Thanks for letting me know - that's quite a sharp eye you have! Fixed now.

Me neither, until now! : )
Thanks - the colors seem very real, don't they?

I like how your husband's cousin and maybe the goat are the only ones who are paying attention to the photographer.

haha Alan - that's true! I'm pretty sure it would have been Agnes, Harry's wife, and Jonathan's grandmother taking the picture.
And SORRY everyone - I feel like I'm messing with your heads here, but geonetix pointed out the slide was turned around (eagle eyes) - so after you're all used to the other view, I've switched it on you. : )

Fun photo. I sense the boy is not so impressed with the petting zoo and would rather be home playing with friends but grandpa's having fun.
