"My Last Day in 'Civvies' "

My mother the day before she left for the WRENS. June, 1942.
She is 18 years old.
Taken in Highgate, London, where she worked.
Perhaps I should say that "civvies" means civilian clothes. She wore a uniform for most of the next three years.
