In the years 1868/69 and 1870/74 he sang at the La Monnaie Theatre in Brussels. He sang at 4 premières: as harvester Faucheur in Meyerbeer's "Dinorah" (1859), Beppe in Donizetti's "Rita" (1860), Tebaldo in Massé's "La mule de Pedro" (1865) and Don Alvaro in Meyerbeer's "L'Africaine" (1865). In 1888 he retired from the stage and then worked as a singing teacher in Paris.
