The island Samui (Thai: เกาะสมุย) in the gulf of Thailand is a clear example how a paradise change into a nasty tourist stronghold. It changed from one of my favorites targets in to the most disliked one. Samui has changes into a center of overcharging every oncoming tripper.
In February 1981 I spent my honeymoon with my wife after our wedding party with 600 guests. We escaped this giant festival which is common under islamic tradition. The island Samui was the absolute right target to relax and enjoy the honeymoon, Samui was more than a paradise.
Many of my relatives and a lot of friends now ask me about my old experience, about my memories I keep from this former hog heaven. I scanned my old slides, captured during our stay on Samui and I edited the pictures which suffered under fungi, change in colors and contrasts. Here is a passable result.

Please accept my request for some more days until I'll have finished this set.
