Scottish Widows Fund and Life Assurance Society head office, Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. Created by Basil Spence, Glover & Ferguson (1972) on the site of the publisher Nelson’s old printing works close to Holyrood Park. Landscape consultant Sylvia Crowe. Officially opened in 1976 and won a RIBA award in 1977.
