'INNOVATION' (Germany)

'INNOVATION' (Germany)
Listed as a 'Heavy Lift Jack-Up Vessel'.
The huge crane is part of the ship. So are the 4 legs sticking up. They are lowered to the sea bed, and lift the ship up to give a stable base for the crane to be used. They can lift the hull clear of the water if required!
It is collecting offshore wind turbine pillars from Arnish Construction Yard, where they are being made.
Part of one is the yellow thing standing up to left of the bow.
The other boat is the 'Ronja Viking'.
That's the Goat Island causway running across the bottom of the pic.
Taken at a bit over a mile distant, on a gloomy rainy morning.
One of those times when transport would be handy. I would really have liked to get around to the other side, and closer, for better pics.
