Two For The Price Of One!

Two For The Price Of One!
In ONE of my traps this morning!
This is bad!
The first 4 spotted by the house were- one 'light' and three 'dark'- I have now caught 3 'light' ones!
Also, the size difference in these two, looks like parent and offspring!
No wonder all the bunnies are gone...
(Wild Ferrets)

They must have been very active around the house, through the night as the Old Lady rabbit is keeping well away from the house this morning- and Kitten isn't moving away from the house on his early morning 'out'!

How very sad. They're nice healthy looking ferrets, you can see how shiny the darker fur on their trousers is. Not necessarily parent and child; adult ferrets come in a huge range of sizes, females generally (but not always) smaller than males.

The larger was a female, feeding one youngster (so I have been told), and the smaller was probably the young one.

Sad for them to have been dumped where they are not wanted and do so much damage. Much better to have them out of the way though.

I'm so glad that they are illegal here in California as they are not native here and they can decimate so many native animals. Good luck in catching the rest.
