Yes. This was the workshop of the last carriage maker in Leiden. He said not long before he died: “I’m the only one in Leiden who knows how to make a wheel.”

There were some plans to turn his workshop into a museum, but it was deemed not special enough.

It already was a museum, but nobody came to visit it, and more carriage maker's workshops have been preserved. The collection consisted of a bunch of old tools.
