I'm drooling... but why is it foamy on the top?

It was just tapped from the machine, and the milk flowing into the bottle made it foamy.

Ja, that's what I don't understand... so this machine dispenses fresh milk to a glass bottle? I've never seen such a machine. But why not just pre-bottle the milk and sell it on a shelf? Sorry, I'm sure there is a very good reason, just that I don't know that.

This is the milk dispenser which dispenses fresh unpasteurized milk. I posted a picture of the whole set-up here:

Just normal full-fat milk, straight from the cow. The full-fat milk in the shops has a normalised fat content, whilst milk straight from the cow has a different fat content depending on the season (less in Winter and higher in Summer).

Yummm, I shall like to try that... hopefully the unpasturised milk wouldn't make me sick ; )

99% of the time you're ok, but sometimes people get food poisoning, because cows are not the most hygienic of animals. Pregnant women and the very young and old should stay away from it.

I pasteurise it, by heating it to 72ºC for a short time, although I sometime drink one glass raw.

How do you heat it up to 72°C exactly? I occasionally have a steamed milk... very "comfy" food.
