Time Lapse 1 "Rain"

Well the only settings I have not used on my D700 are the multiple exposure settings and Intervalometer. As everyone else seems to be getting onto the multiple exposure setting I thought I'd try the Intervalometer and make my very first time lapse. Unfortunately today has been real grubby weather, no decent clouds but rainy and windy and miserable, so I couldn't go to the beach which was my original plan, and instead set up my tripod and camera at my bedroom window, so this isn't as interesting as I'd like. Sigh. I set the intervalometer to take 400 frames at 15 second intervals, imported into LR4 for batch sharpening, luminosity and clarity, sent them to Iphoto, then imported into Imovie where I put them all together and added a soundtrack. It took 1 & 1/2 hrs to take the shots for this 1min movie, and am quite pleased with it even though it's pretty raw & boring. Definatley will try to do another now I've got the hang of it.
