oh lordy, it's the stuff of nightmares. i hate, just hate painted wooden characters. they really give me the creeps for some reason, big time! burn them, shred them, take them in the car 100 miles up the road and throw them out the window into a weir! do it now, before you regret it..... :-)

You must have been traumatized by one of those old Twilight Zone episodes or something as a kid! That's alright, my daughter hates clowns! I don't know what it is about these kinds of things, but either you love them or hate them; personally, I choose to be afraid of things that can really hurt me ;-)

i have potholed, climbed and abseiled my way around europe. i have parachuted out of a plane, i have rafted down some pretty hairy white water rapids in the alps. one of my favourite hobbies is free form sea swimming with sharks, stingrays and creatures of the deep.

but yes, small painted wooden people still scare me shitless :-)

LOL! That's alright, everybody has to be scared by something :) I could never do the things you have done because that would scare ME sh**less!

I sincerely apologize if I have caused you any anxiety over this picture.

Thank you so much, Mags! This picture was actually quite frustrating to take because I didn't have enough lighting! :)

Love these little fibber figures! Nice lighting.

Thanks, Cordia :) I like that term, "fibber figures"; it describes them perfectly! A couple of them actually came with a separate longer nose you could exchange for the shorter one, presumably if you wanted your Pinocchio to lie, lol!

They are a bit spooky but well presented (who stole the buttons from the little one on the left?)

Thank you Adrian :) The one without the buttons I bought in Disney World, the others I bought in a store at the same time and were made by a different company. All were made in Italy.

It's just a really nice photo Val (although I am LMAO at all the comments.)

Your lighting and color is wonderful and the combination of the wooden items with the baskets is nice too. Very different and interesting little characters. (Hope I don't have nightmares tonight.) ;)

LOL, thanks for your lovely comments, Karen! It is funny how differently we all react to the same thing! But, as they say, variety is the spice of life :D

Your presentation is nicely done. I don't find them creepy but why would anyone want to be able to change the noses on them ... now that IS creepy! lol Good job Valfal
