Pentaxforums.com have a monthly challenge, to post one photo a day taken with the same lens for a month. I have chosen my SMC Pentax 'K' 30mm f/2.8 lens.

Drizzly and gray day in New York so the fruit stand on Broadway was as colourful as I could manage.

More info: These sculptures are part of a playground at Wise Towers between 90th and 91st Streets West. They were made by the artist Constantino Nivola in 1965 as part of a playground which includes fountains, a mural and a figure. Cleopatra's needle

Despite the name, this obelisk is much earlier than Cleopatra. According to the plaque, it was originally erected at Heliopolis in 1600 BC, then moved by the Romans to Alexandria in 12 BC. It was given to New York by the Khedive of Egypt and erected in Central Park in 1881.
