Fishing. A bit of an unfortunate angle to the sun (hence the white sky), but I thought it would work as a high key image. I just like how the red of the bill and legs stands out this way.

You are so right, Janet. First thing I look for when I get to a certain bird location is where the sun is and then make sure it is behind me, but I couldn't pass up on this fellow, hovering just above and at arm's length, so I shot him anyway. :) I'm glad you like the shot too. Thank you so much.
