Slug #1
I never shoot macros, but these guys are everywhere in the park early in the morning and as I had the 300mm f/4 with me I took a few shots. In the notes are two more. One of another slug (well, the same type but in a different pose) and one of a Damselfly. Both species are firsts for me, so be kind! :)
By the way, I had NO idea that those blue Damselflies were to tiny!

Levina de Ruijter has replied to Claudine Gaulier-Den…I also wanted to say thank you for the long comment you made about the 365 project and your experience with the Nifty 50 and learning so much! I know how you feel...the 50 isn't my normal lens but we have one and I took it out to the Medford Cruise a few weeks ago...that lens ROCKS!!! It is really easy to use, has fabulous bokeh, and is a bright, awesome lens. I was surprised how instantly I felt at ease with it, and understood why so many people love that lens so much!
Loved finding out about your forum and about the Nifty Fifty World Tour! I went to see pictures but apparently the site is down. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see pictures of where Nifty's been!! WHAT A FUN IDEA!!! I think it would be a blast to be involved in something like that!
Levina de Ruijter has replied to Janet Brien clubThe 50mm is pretty good, isn't it? Although for the city with it's often narrow streets I often found it too long. But it really is a nifty lens.
As to the Nifty project on POTN. Cool that you checked that out! However, the original hosting site of the images is locked up and nobody has the key anymore, so we have no access to the first one or two years of Nifty images. Instead the pictures have been posted in the Nifty thread itself, so you will have to browse that a bit to see pics. This project really is a fun idea and I loved being a host. So much so that I'm thinking of putting my name on the list for a second tour. :)
Dank je, Dynamo.
