Thanks, Scott. I decided to shoot this place again, after noticing the owner had something new in the windows (POW flag , the last time).

I'm enjoying this pace a little better actually. Not as rushed. I don't even mind the sometimes slow speeds. It's about the same as flickr if you want to be OCD and time it. I'd never do that. Well maybe. Just a couple of times ;D

"Not as rushed" is key. All other things being equal, I always felt like I did a terrible job keeping up with everyone on Flickr, and never could manage to simply pare down my contacts to levels where I could keep up. I used to spend a lot more time on line, too. Anyway, I'm optimistic that this is a better pace/place for me.

Hey Karl, just tried to send you a message, but not sure how/if it works here. Comments don't seem to be enabled on your photos here. I wanted to say so on that bus shot, but can't comment.

Just noticed the flag on a second look. Half surprised the guy didn't color coordinate that as well.

He changes the "message" in his window from time to time, I haven't yet seen a color coordinated one, alas.

Unusual, I think, both for a house and for a truck.

He's a bit of an outlier being in the SF area. He's got a great sense of color.

Yeah, probably only 7 votes in all of SF for Ron Paul in the last election, one from this guy.

this owner is clearly partial to turquoise. I wonder if he has mid century furnishings in his home
