A Cotswold Airport Snapshot - 14 September 2017
The scene at Cotswold Airport changes steadily over the months and is well worth periodic visits. To me it is at the same time fascinating for photographs and a shameful reflection on one aspect of the aviation world and its role in our throwaway society. Admittedly, a large part of the activity is parting out for re-use but it is shocking to see relatively modern aircraft discarded from use. In this view are (from camera) ex Air Atlanta Icelandic B747-400 TF-AAE in Saudia colours, Air France A340-300 F-GLZH, Thai Airways B777-200 HS-TJF (also marked N176GT) and another Thai B777-200 (believed to be N175GT).
