Western Gateway Play Area (2) - 7 August 2017

More than one year after the opening of the West Car Park [qv], construction is under way on the promised play area at the Western Gateway of Alver Valley Country Park. As with the nearby Innovation Centre Phase 2 [also qv], I shall not be able to record every detail of progress but I thought the early stages made for good photographs. An access path is already in place and I was surprised to see the enclosing fencing which, I should imagine, would hinder construction and possibly be damaged during continuing work.
