Blooming Marvellous

Intergenerational Community Knitted Garden - a magical life-size knitted garden.

Over 2,500 knitters and crocheters worked with participatory visual artist Pauline Stanley to create the garden complete with knitted flowers and insects, garden shed and picnic.

This excellent exhibition was at Gallery @ Gosport Discovery Centre where I have visited several exhibitions and never been disappointed. The centre has an enlightened and accommodating photography policy where the exhibition content allows.

This is, perhaps, my favourite piece from the exhibition or, at least, from my photographs of it. The detail is amazing - look at the poor mouse.
