Difficult times...

The virus won't mind.
It will continue to evolve and find its way, life has always been like this.
My displeasure is more for those who refuse to face this "small" test.
For them I do not only have a "thumbs down"
but also like to kick them in their buttocks.

The difficult times are yet to come... so I wish you strength and power.

Yes, the virus will continue its ways and it's sad how so many cannot face adversity since it's always been a part of life. Things will eventually get better, but it may take time and thus this is a time to stay strong and most importantly protect life as best as possible. Together is the best way to get through this. Stay well!

I would say "thumbs up for all our heroes" !!

The god who gave it to the world will take it back... one day! Meanwhile let's all stay safe and reflect about our position in life.

A very impressive series, William !!! So strange to see all these empty streets in NYC!!! Hope this nightmare will have an end! The best is to stay safe, but many people are not completly aware of the jeopardy, especially in my country. Discipline is not our main quality !!!! Take care and stay healthy !!!

An impressive series William. How the world has changed for so many so quickly. I think the way we live will have to change considerably for some time to come. The virus is out there now so we must adapt to survive, which I am sure we will.

I can't agree more but it seems like here in America some of our political leaders want the virus to win and so they ignore science and rush to re-open. :(

ps I have to say my country is doing all it can. Well were one of the first countries implement many restrictions to stop/halt the virus spreading. I am over 70 so I am not allowed out by my Goverment..

An excellent series William and I see a message of hope and solidarity in the images, - the banners and mostly the empty streets. I live in a town that is tiny by comparison but still people are out on the streets and in their cars, and are not obeying social distancing rules. Well captured and documented William. A striking series William. Lockdown here has reached a difficult phase with some of us older people afraid to go out, others complaining about being stopped from going places to exercise and told to go home, - some of the older generation feel they are being unfairly treated and not allowed to go places that younger people can. Some, particularly younger people act as normal with no evidence of social distancing. A lot of business are griping about finances and needing to reopen. It doesn't feel to me like we are in this together, - until you see those doing a difficult job, - NHS and people delivering groceries and medicines etc, all with a cheery smile and kind word, - all at a safe distance of course, - and it makes you feel so much better. Thank you to all those kind souls making lives bearable in these awful times.

I feel the same way Ecobird and wrote this in my diary a few days ago. It seems older people, immigrants, foreigners, and others with health issues are being treated or looked at differently and not always kindly. Meanwhile others are running around the streets, refusing to social distance and wear face coverings without caring if they infect each other and those who do not want any part of this virus. You even have some saying it's our duty to get infected for future generations! And then there are those who cry poverty but show no sign of adhering to simple rules. To me, why should I trust them to run a business if they can't simply wear a face covering and social distance? Last week in NYC alone, 51 tickets for $1000 were issued and some had the nerve to actually condemn the police! Stay well!

Fui a ver una y me salieron 8 fotos. Generoso quien da 8 por 1. La primera, para mí, representa un abandono ante la desesperanza del marginado que no ve otra salida que borrar de su cabeza los problemas con la bebida. Las otras, muestran la tristeza de la abandonada soledad en contraste con el bullicio habitual. También hay mensajes de concienciación y unidad. Tenemos dos enemigos; el C-19 y sus aliados; aquellos humanos fuera de control, ingobernables...

An easing of restrictions here now William which I find quite frightening, Although so far they are quite minor people are allowed to travel to beauty spots and to go to parks etc and some businesses are starting to open again. I do fear another spike in cases. Stay safe and well.
