An exhausting day.

An exhausting day.
First, these are uncropped. I managed to sneak up ever so slowly until I managed to get about 6 or 7 feet away from them. Unfortunately they wanted to nap in the shade so the lighting isn't the greatest. Pants covered in bird poop after, but well worth it.

As I scooched along the grass on my butt, they would look up before closing their eyes again.

Aww! You did great to get these super close photos of these little ones! I love their little ears and their little beaks and their eyes too! I cannot tell that the lighting was not great - I would have said it was great! You managed to turn the photos into very nice pictures, either way!

These are in the shade of a tree, but they would follow their parents and rest in their shadows until the parents moved away...then get up and follow them again until they stopped and plop down once more. Super cute!

You are a very dedicated photographer. Not even for cute baby geese would I voluntarily get covered in bird poo!
