Ces vieilles photos sont superbes, j'aime la dignité des personnes sur ces anciennes photos, une attitude un peu perdue de nos jours !

Yes, @Bede, I so agree! I think that's one of the reasons that draws me to vintage photographs.

Totally awesome portrait! What a gorgeous family!! :)

I am totally fascinated by the pictures you've been sharing. I am so interested in black history in the United States, so much of it is swept under the rugs or poorly documented. I took a class called African Americans in US History back when I was about 20 yrs old in San Francisco, totally interesting. It's a terrible shame how little recognition African Americans got for all of the hard work they did in this country, and for being in the front lines and so on. So much to know. Thanks for putting your pictures up, I would like make some time to visit and see more of the pictures you've posted.

@Janet, thank you so very much! Black History was sorely lacking in school when I was growing up. I always felt unsatisfied at the pittance worth of info they taught us. Its my pleasure to present my own version of Black History. Hopefully, making others interested in finding out more about a particular person, place or event.
