Charming Billy?

Charming Billy?
I don't know if Billy is charming, as in the song, or not. He is looking a bit sinister here. But NLJ likes him a lot. He got left here accidentally at the birthday party. I've been trying to remember him but keep forgetting. Yesterday the Dad took quite an effort to get him out the door and on the way home with them but to no avail: there Billy still was, this time in the entryway of my apartment.

"Child's Play" anyone?

It is going to be Halloween soon and we have to pick our October scary movie. Last year I watched a couple but I only remember The Exorcist. Knockout. Still scary after all these years.

Great perspective! And, yes, a little creepy.

As far as scary movies go, we typically go retro classic. Anything by Hitchcock is a winner, but we usually do a double-feature of "The Rear Window" and "Dial M for Murder"; both because they are excellent and we happen to own them. Or, if you want to go a more whimsical comedic route, the Mike Meyers movie "So I Married An Axe Murderer" is always good for a laugh.

Maybe I will try Vertigo or The Birds this year.

We recently watched the movie Hitchcock with Anthony Hopkins playing the lead. It is about the production of the movie Psycho and is worth a watch. Perhaps a double feature of Hitchcock and Psycho...
