For all of you who live in warm places and wonder what winter is like. I took this photo today to try and show what conditions are like. You can see the temperature display on the mirror at -24C. There is also a wind from the north that's blowing the falling snow across the road and polishing the already slippery surface to a treacherous shine. Tonight the temperature will drop to almost -40C.
The wind chill factor right now will freeze exposed flesh in just minutes.
