Funny! Just the other day I read about the Klondike goldrush, about Skagway, Chilkoot and Whitepass, only to find a map today out of that very years. :-)

This map was published during that time, and as a selling point, included markings showing the gold fields. It also showed areas where other discoveries were made, such as coal. The map area in the upper right, above Telegraph Creek in British Columbia, shows a shaded gold area.

We've visited some of these areas on cruises, lots of history.
