Help Wanted 3b:

a 36 (+2) bead mala, the beads are nuts carved in the shape of male heads. For a fuller description please see previous image. Can anyone help identify this object, it's origins etc?

From the thumbnail I though this was chocolate! :o)
Sadly I know nothing about those artifacts... but all those different faces look really interesting.
