It's easy to see how the stage has been refurbished. Take away the "darker" area and you can tell where the band leader conducted.

Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. Note the license plate on the parked van. This is where Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson (The Big Bopper) played their final concert.
Avanti owners guest house

This is the Avanti owners guest house located across the street from the museum.
The car had safety designed into it with a built-in roll bar and it was fast. 29 records were broken by it at the Bonneville Salt Flats

The Avanti name, tooling and plant space were sold to two South Bend, Indiana, Studebaker dealers, Nate Altman and Leo Newman, the first of a succession of entrepreneurs to manufacture small numbers of Avanti replica and new design cars through 2006. (wikipedia).
It was my pleasure to drive one in 1964.

The Bronze Fonz is on the Milwaukee Riverwalk in downtown Milwaukee, Henry Winkler as the Happy Days character Arthur Fonzarelli, also known as "The Fonz". We spent a very pleasant sunny afternoon in the area.
