Baby Face

Acclaimed violinist and conductor, Jan (Jacob) Garber, the "idol of the airwaves", hit number one with "Baby Face" issued as a B side in 1926. Co-composer Benny Davis sings the vocal. This track was edited to include the singer.

The Wing And A Prayer Fife And Drum Corps disco version of "Baby Face" (Harry Akst - Benny Davis) is here in it's single issue as the album version was much longer and you'll get the feel for it with this release. This peaked at number two Disco, number thirty-two Soul and fourteen on Billboard's Top One Hundred. The group consisted of studio musicians assembled by Harold Wheeler. Harold has a bunch of Tony award nominations, was the musical director for Burt Bacharach and music arranger for both Nina Simone and Tony Orlando.
