It's Not Unusual

This has been listed as the Tom Jones (Woodward) demo of "It's Not Unusual" (Les Reed - Gordon Mills) but it seems like it's from a real session and perhaps a first take. This may be a voice track over a different instrumental bed. Apparently the song was given to Sandie Shaw who turned it down in 1964 when she heard Tom's demo and suggested he release it himself.. Tom had his signature song, first top ten hit and the start of an amazing career. The tune is on the 1965 debut album "Along Came Jones",
