I'm a Man
Mort Shuman and Doc Pomus (Jerome Felder) wrote some of the best tunes ever released during the fifties and sixties. "I'm a Man' sounds so much better than the hit when issued by Mort Shuman. Mort left the U.S. and relocated in France where he had his own recording career and a number of hits sung in French.
Teen idol Fabian (Forte) had his first charted record with "I'm a Man" when it hit the top forty in 1959. According to Fabian " I liked (this song) a lot and was very comfortable with (it), (the process) was giving me more experience, but I still felt like a fish out of water.
