Excellent, creative shot.
I have not really decided yet; I've been thinking about Google+ (as much as I hate what they did to Panoramio) and Flickr ...
But I am hearing about a site called "23HQ" at www.23hq.com ... I took a look there and they already have an "Ipernity Refugees" Group with some familiar names; but some complaints about clumsiness and lack of security ...
I am getting cynical about the internet being able to support a viable community of photographers (would seem simple, right?) ...
Going to keep researching ...
It is always to good hear from a familiar name. Best Regards, Wally
L. L. Wall club has replied to Amelia club(BIG sturdy pipes!!) Yes, the lines are from tidal changes. The high/low tidal variations around Nanaimo, on the landward side of Vancouver Island, are 4 up to 5 meters mostly depending on phase-of-moon. Interesting to see the salt build-up; one would think it dissolves off with every high tide; but it did luckily add a color contrast.

freundliche Grüße und einen angenehmen Sonntag,
