Greenbank Cove, Cornwall

Possibly posted before but maybe on Panoramio and a first here? I really don't know as there is now no way of checking Pano archives. For Pam.

Shetland ponies, Portreath, Cornwall

The day started off very stormily indeed. This shot was taken just as the dampness was being burnt off by the increasingly powerful summer sun but the mist lingered awhile. I think this shot gives an impression of the last of the mistiness before the sun finally broke through (I hope so, anyway!) For Pam.

Crane Castle

08 Aug 2014 37 29 400
The landward ramparts of this promontory iron age fort are now the seaward ramparts thanks to coastal erosion. 90% of the site has crumbled away. The ramparts are covered in heather and gorse in the summer. (It's possible I posted this before). For Pam.

Trevaunance Cove, for Pam.

Trevaunance was the port for St Agnes. They persevered with a port here for 150 years but it kept getting destroyed in storms so eventually they gave up and St Agnes is now quintessentially an inland town. Trevaunance Cove now caters for surfers and families bathing in the Cove - on calm days!
