Thank you Jenny! You may not know but I'm now in Cornwall. Long story but briefly my dad had a stroke and is in hospital (I saw him today and he is doing pretty well) and my mum is struggling to cope on her own. Normally my brother would go down from London but he's just had an operation for bowel cancer and my sister had just visited recently and can't take any more time off work. So it was my turn and my consultant had just cleared me to travel as I have just received a new vaccine designed to help immune-compromised people like me! So suddenly I was able to fly and so on the spur of the moment I came (actually not quite immediately because all flights were fully booked for a few days due to a rather major funeral!
Anyway Brexit means I don't have a driving license any more so there'll be no going to the coast and going for walks and taking photos as there are more important things to take care of as you can imagine!

Wow - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I do hope it won't be long before he's on the mend again. Your poor mum - she was worried sick no doubt when you were so ill, and now her husband is ill - I'm not surprised she's struggling. It's so good of you to come over to help. I hope the weather warms up a little bit for you - it must be a great shock to the system from the heat in Spain. Take care and I hope your parents are soon on the road to recovery.

A beautiful church and super shot. I love the bell tower and those wonderful trees. I am pleased you are able to take longer walks now Andy. It is, and must feel like, a huge achievement after what you have been through

Gudrun (I tried to take photos from the back of the church andthe sides because they were more interesting than the front seen here but the sun was too strong and directly in front or I was confronted by large vans and a bus! So this was the only angle possible!).
