Why this sign is in English totally beats me! I doubt if many of the construction workers speak it all that much!
Pleased to see everyone wearing masks.
I will take a break from these Stadium / cranes shots for a while and resume when anything more interesting happens, such as the roof finally going on.

Chaotic it is, Keith - thank you.

Thank you, Gudrun!
I wasn't suggesting it was all in English. The fact that even ONE sign is in English surprised me!

I also wanted to point out the signs in Spanish,
but I just see that Gudrun has noticed them too. :)
Great shot, Andy!

Another in this interesting series. The building on the right looks to be complete (or near to it), while other components seem far less so.

Thank you George. For many decades there have been four spiral walkways - not staircases - (of which this is one) at each outer corner for fans to get to their seats on the various levels. I doubt they will stay, judging by the plans I've seen.
Late update. I saw the plans in more detail and, yes these spiral walkways ARE part of the plans but will be internal so lost to sight from the outside, which is a shame!

It certainly looks an impressive building, Andy - quite unusual construction too.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre club
The construction seen here is the old stadium, Jenny. They're about to cover it all with a new structure which will obscure the stadium as it is now.

I taught English at the club, José Manuel; not the players (although Gareth Bale could have done with English classes as well as Spanish!), but the marketing directors - very powerful and important men - my main student was in charge of gate receipts and the Adidas contract.
In those days (2013-2015) my classes were at this stadium, where the directors all had their offices. But in about 2016, everything moved to the training complex at Valdebebas.

Well, everyone knows English speakers are notoriously monoglot, Andy! ;)

Well, I speak French (perhaps 'spoke' is a better word here as I had a high level but haven't used it for 35 years) better than Spanish even though I've lived here for 10 years! With age, I just don't seem to be able to pick new languages up. But I just about get by!
