Thank you, Fred and yes... there are too many new outbreaks in different towns and food processing plants. AND WAY TOO MANY ******** NOT WEARING MASKS AND NOT OBSERVING SOCIAL DISTANCING ... and I don't see the police doing what is the most important job that any police force has had to do in centuries and arresting these arrogant hedonistic, anti - social BASTARDS.
I would put them all together in mass produced prisons built and funded under 'New Deal' financing, and throw away the key and hope that many suffer from the virus.
Of course I don't really wish this but dark thoughts do swirl in times such as this!

Thank you, Rosa. All the children's public play areas in Madrid (and possibly all of Spain - I haven't checked!) have these same colourful fences. An attractive feature, I feel.

Lovely cheerful colours Andy. Well captured. Maybe people are still being cautious. Perhaps if there was a little more caution here places like Leicester might not be back in lockdown. The crowded beach scenes in Bournemouth were also quite shocking.
It is a nice little play area though and I am sure it won't be too long before it is filled with children again. HFF and have a good weekend

Maybe it is down to that old Noel Coward song about how only " ... mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun!".

This is just as obvious and could of course also be the reason. :))

Perhaps they have to get used to the new freedom?

Maybe they feel like a lot of people - they are scared to let the children out to run about. Also maybe they heard about the spike again and so have kept the children safe at home. This virus is really holding on tight to anyone who is stupid enough to ignore restrictions.

I agree 1,000% with what you say, Jenny. Except that most children's playgrounds are crawling with kids and their parents are nearby and very few are wearing masks, when in fact it is still the law in Spain to where masks in these situatuations. Many, many Spaniards are ignoring the restrictions, so expect Spain to be closed down again soon. :o(
