I really love the framing you've chosen, Andy. It really gives a feeling of a nostalgic look at your favorite walk through the bars of the temporary lock.
Please... don't tell me that my Spanish brothers -sisters ( Neo-Latin) are so undisciplined!

But then I wonder even more how, at least here in the Veneto region, Italians still go around wearing masks even outdoors, even riding a bike or scooters...
Joggers aren't allowed in any park: they must run in much more open spaces.

Well, there are some idiots, Bea (mainly the irresponsible, irreverent young, but also a few other of the usual older suspects who are sticking two fingers up at the world).
I am pleased to say that about 80-90% of the people are obeying the rules about mask wearing, based purely on my own visual evidence.
But if you run / jog or ride a bike you DON'T HAVE TO WEAR A MASK and I think this was a big mistake!

It must be so tempting. But one day.....

No. I wouldn't dream of jumping the fence, Jean! I'm in at least 3 high-risk groups so I try to be extra specially careful!

Beautifully framed and captured Andy. I guess it is a sensible precaution to close the park. I wonder how long it will be before we have similar measures in place as a lot of people do not seem to be adhering to social distancing rules. HFF and have a good weekend

Well, our parks closed on day one, while yours stayed open. When Madrid passed into Phase 1 two weeks ago, everyone thought the parks were supposed to re-open but most stayed shut and many have stayed shut as we passed into phase 2 on Monday. No explanations given but this is Spain and many things related to what the people in power can do (and accountability for their actions) are still firmly rooted in Franco days, despite the fact that we now have a socialist coalition in power. It's very ingrained!

En Euskadi a esas “pistas de carreras” las llamamos “BIDEGORRIS”, “Bide” por camino y “Gorri” por rojo; o sea traducido al castellano “Caminos rojos” habilitados para corredores. Los utilizan ahora aquí y van sin mascarilla. Si el deporte es de esfuerzo continuo no conviene la mascarilla, porque resta el riego sanguíneo que los músculos demandan.

Superbement prise sous cet angle bien cadré et bien présenté..Chez nous la plupart des parcs sont restés plus ou moins ouverts;avec un respect de distanciation sociale bien-sur..Chez nous on est encore confiné de 7h du matin a 17h de l’après-midi.

I don't blame you for being extra careful Andy...........my wife is in a higher risk group (although not the highest risk) so we're also pretty much keeping a low profile at the moment. There seems to be a significant minority here in England who refuse to follow the social distancing rules!!
