It's more of a rockscape than a landscape and very beautiful.

Solid enough. Roger! Yes, the sea wins over time but granite is not sandstone!
Thank you and stay safe!

Moo Fred!
Thank you and stay safe!
Sorry but what does moo mean in Dutch. I know what it means in English - the sound of a cow!

+++Great comments everyone, thank you. As much as I love this part of the Cornish coast, I have in fact only twice in my life walked east from Logan Rock, past Penberth Cove, Lamorna and on to Mousehole and I once came the other way. On no occasion did I have a camera with me. I now much regret the many years I simply didn't even think about taking photos! :o(+++

Always good to see your Cornwall shots Andy. I was lucky to visit Cornwall many times but still the majority of times with only a film camera of 12/20 shots so not many photographic memories on here.

Keep well. Herb

Well spotted and composed. The strong detail helps us to take the view in quickly and to understand the structure of the cliffs.

Also this granite is enjoyable from a tactile point of view. I used to rockclimb on granite seacliffs in Cornwall.
Thank you, John!

Classic granite scenery! Years ago, I did some sea cliff climbing (well, scrambling really) on the granite cliffs on the north coast of Jersey. I was amazed at how the granite allowed you to almost stick to the rocks. Most enjoyable!

YES! Granite is the perfect climbing rock! I climbed on other rock (Derbyshire, The Alps, Fontainebleu and so on) but nothing gave me greater pleasure than granite. Now, I scramble only and the Cornish cliffs and places like the Sierra de La Cabrera in Central Spain are perfect for me! Favourite granite rock climbing areas; Skye (Cuillin Ridge) and of course Cornwall (Bosigran a special place).
