Motorbikes ALWAYS park on the pavements here. (It is illegal to do so but there has never, ever been an instance of a prosecution for this so they all do it).
I hate it.
You can be walking down the pavement and suddenly be confronted by an enormous 1200 cc motorbike bearing down on you looking to park. It should be banned and enforced.
I love Madrid, but there are some things ... ...
