Yes, this is only 30 km from the centre of Madrid and yet I am nearly always the only walker here! I think the lack of Spaniards is due to there not being a restaurant on the ridge. Spaniards like to break a serious walk with a serious lunch! Picnics and sandwiches just don't do it for the Spanish!
