Great!
I will have to think about this, Peggy! So there is a way! But how, exactly do we achieve this with old photos??
Maybe one can't retrospectively change attribution. I may have to re-do the album in the "open" mode. Still thinking about it ... ... ... but before then I need my beauty sleep!!

A good shot Andy with pleasant foreground interest.. /.. As a 'yoof' I remember hurtling into the car park at the 'Tinners arms' in Zennor'... the landlord remarked... ''Blimey ! I thought you were coming in through the wall''...he made us chuckle.

Can you remember the year, David? It might have been my great uncle!

David G Johnson club has replied to Andy Rodker club
I sure can !... it would be summer 1970 or 1971... I remember trees and fences being plastered with unsightly voting posters for a coming election... and 'Mungo Jerry' ''in the summertime''
Cheers from Dave...

I'm a bit stumped there because my uncle retired from there somewhere between 1969 and 1971 and for a year or two the place went downhill under ownership that didn't work out and eventually in the early 70s it was acquired by another 'character' landlord, David who ran the pub successfully for many years and who was great friends with my grandmother!.
But then again, and looking at your dates more carefully, it might have been my uncle. 1970; general election and when Merry Jungo was at number one!
It was all before I was old enough to get my drinking boots on but I did stay in the house next to the pub often enough and would peer at the interesting but unfathomable world that was the happy (in the main!) pub clientelle at the Tinner's Arms, looking out a bit sheepishly from behind the bar! Very happy childhood memories!

That's amazing Andy..... I'm thinking you would never have heard of the pub'... when in fact you're so very familiar with it... a small world eh. Thanks for your story.. very interesting. Most likely 1970 then.. as I had a one year old Mini Cooper Reg. YWA 666G.. (1969)
I was camping down there with a mate.. we'd just call in on a farmer - ask - then throw a tent down in his field... lived on fish and chips and beer.. wonderful !
Nice to read you have happy memories of your times there... /.. Dave.

I still have family in Zennor, Dave, as well as further up county.
I drink in the Tinners every time I go back (only once a year, sadly). It would be very rude and disrespectful not to!. By the way, it won't have changed inside one bit since your day!
It's interesting too that we can all remember our early motors and their number plates (your Mini Cooper one was particularly distinctive though!)
Best ... Andy

Is Bodmin Moore and Tintagel already Cornwall (I am short on time and www isn't able to show a map with county borders)? If so, I have been once inyour county, if not, never. But I dare to say, that you united the best of Cornwall in this very picture. That's wonderfull!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Leon_Vienna club
Thank you, Leon.
Both Tintagel and Bodmin Moor are situated in the east of the Duchy (technically not a county but a Duchy, but everyone including the Unitary Council refers to it as a county!) and this is in the far west, on the way to Land's End!
So, yes; you have visited the Duchy!

A stunning aerial shot of a beautiful vista, Andy. It's true what they say. An area of red, no matter how small, in an image, will always draw the eye. Cheers, Joe
