Between Basset Cove and Porthcadjack. This had fallen into the sea between 2011 when I took this and more recent visits. The path was moved back quite a way before my next visit the following year (a fact that hasn't been noticed by the mappers! Have a look at the map in close up and you will see what I mean!!!). A pity as I remember some of the best crops of sloes and blackberries were from this stretch of path!

I see what you mean about shore movement. The map shows you way back from the sea. The satellite view seems to be more recent and shows piles of rubble right up to this point. It was really beautiful when you took the photo.

I hope satnav relies on the up-to-date version! The South West Peninsula Coast Path is actually named just as is disappears over the cliff edge!!
It's sad when beautiful things are irrevocably lost!
