It has no great photographic merit but it is one of the few shots of my Mum's garden this year. She is getting on, her garden is her pride and joy, I helped her replace some of the beautiful but impractically heavy terracotta pots with plastic containers (which we both hate) but needs must!.
Ulrich,
Thank you both!
Well for her 80th birthday last year we clubbed together to create Mum's Gardening Fund. This was partly intended to allow her to get help in for some of the heavy gardening stuff that is getting a bit much for her.
What happened is that she is using it to give a little bit of help to a lovely lady in the village who is a keen gardener and comes in every so often. The only drawback is that she is the same age as my Mum and so neither of them can do any heavy lifting, etc!
