Granite boulders everywhere!
It was an extremely hot autumn day in 2011. The walk I did was good, if tough. It did include, though, my first sight of the palace monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

Andy Rodker : Thank you, Richard. Near the end of October that year (2011) and a temperature of 30C. The same this year; the weather has only this weekend started to feel autumnal!
