Cornish hedge (seen better days)

oh cool - i didn't know it was a Cornish word. and i love the higher contrast on this photo bringing out all those wonderful hedge details.

It's not a 'Cornish' word, but the English word adopted by the Cornish to represented their stone boundary walls! I'm sure there was a native Cornish word for them but as Cornish was only recently re-established as a historical curiosity, it's no longer used, whatever it was. A pity I suppose!

Also.. my first husband was a Cornishman I think I have mentioned !
