Wow! this looks almost identical to a disused mine, just a few miles along the coast, from where I live, nice capture, love the flora in the foreground.

The mines over here were copper mines, the one I'm thinking about, is on the Waterford coastline, just a few miles west of of Tramore, which is due south, of Waterford city it'self.

I forget what my idea was - I just know that I like your shots of it and I do know the area (even if I never actually set foot on Win Green - but I do know the Parishes of Donhead St Mary and Donhead St Andrew).

A few years ago I have seen a similar mine on the coat north of Spain, near Zarautz.

There are some geological similarities so I'm not surprised there are mines as well! Don't know Zarautz, though. Was it a tin mine?

Wonderful shot. I have photos of this somewhere. The photos you commented on were taken on a holiday in Portreath and we did a lot of hiking along the coast - to St. Agnes and beyond.
