Le Doubs - Jura

Hi Diane, welcome back! Yes, it would be a nice spot to camp, though it’s a protected area so you have to stay on paths and permitted places. Anyway, we were on a small camping ground some km further north, on the shore of the same river. Here we are in the swiss Jura, a range of low however fantastic, mountains which share a long western side of Switzerland and France. Finally, the border is somewhere lost in the forests or along the middle of this river and you can easily walk and pass among the two Countries without noticing anything.
