Summer solstice Summer solstice
Today was the longest day of the year so I went with friends from work to watch the sun at midnight. We walked in Hestfjordur and I took this picture just around midnight. The sun did not go much lower then that and now when I'm back home, it is shining brightly through my window :o)

I lived in Fort McMurray Alberta which was pretty far north, but not this far. I used to sit outside and read at 11:00PM, but the sun did go down for an hour or so. Very cool photo!

Takk Begga. Þetta var nokkuð löng ganga fyrir þessa myndatöku, u.þ.b. 14 kílómetrar í ósléttu landi, en það var alveg þess virði.... svona einu sinni :o)

Vááá, 14 kílómetrar. Mér finnst ég nú góð ef ég drattast áfram svona 3-4 kílómetra í góðri göngu, hehe. En þetta hefur verið erfiðisins virði sé ég, þetta er alveg stórglæsileg mynd.
