The River




I went out one calm and beautiful evening where I was working and took some pictures. This song came to mind when I took this picture :o)

Thank you greynine. It was almost 11 in the evening and I wanted to have as long exposure time as I could in that light. That might be the reason for this strange outcome :o)

Ah! Great long exposure shot - and good to hear Bruce! I suspect though, that it might have been too cold to "get Mary pregnant" !! But the emotions are certainly there, in this photo. Excellent combination :)

Thank you very much Nigel. Actually, the "Mary" part wouldn't have been impossible, close to this river is a natural hot tub that would have worked fine for the job :o) I have a picture of it (no action though!) that I can post here :o)

Bruce alltaf flottur, gaman að hafa svona lag með. Það sem ég rak strax augun í var þúfan fremst, finnst ótrúlega flott að hafa svona forgrunn gerir allt hitt sérstakt og hlutföllin óraunveruleg.

I think it's a matter of taste: greynine said that the water effect it's a bit too strange. For me it's fantastic! I like these long-exposure-water-effects.
It's a beauty patch!!!

Thank you Sandra. It was almost 11 o'clock and I still had to use an polarizing filter to get longer exposure time. Soon it will be bright all through the night :o)
