LOL... ég held að ég myndi ekki vilja sofa í þessu rúmi... no matter what! Lítur pínku óþægilega út og svo er ég ferleg kuldaskræfa :D Og hvað er rúmið að gera í kjallaranum? Þetta er eins og sena úr hryllingsmynd... algjörlega í anda Stephen King! Skemmtileg mynd sem vekur upp fullt af spurningum :o) Flott að sjá gárurnar í klakanum, minnir mann á þegar maður var á skautum í denn :o)

Takk Begga. Ég held ég myndi nú ekki heldur vilja sofa þarna... no matter what! :o) Það er eitthvað meira drasl í kjallaranum og ég held nú að þessu hafi bara verið hent þarna en hefur sjálfsagt ekki verið notað til gistingar :o)

Very uncomfortable, I suspect! And rather cold too! I wonder who was the last person to sleep there...

Oh my god... another old, abandoned and crazy place. Ice in a house... you can't find such a curio in Germany ;-) My first idea: iceskating in the bedroom :-D

What an interesting photo, we do not have houses like that in here, what I am trying to say we never get that cold to get ice.. is there many houses a abandon in your country and if there why?

Thank you Nada. There are a lot of old abandoned houses here in Iceland where people has just moved form the country side to the cities and left their houses behind :o)

Takk Ingibjörg. Jú, þetta er "Kastalinn" við Arngerðareyri og mig langaði eiginlega ekkert til að leggja mig þarna. Hefði frekar farið á skauta ef það hefði staðið til boða :o)

It looks similar to the basement of my house. I always feel horror when I think that people (incl. children) were reluctant to live in such place during the 2. WW.

Thank you Angela. It is hard for us here in Iceland to imagine the horror of war. Thankfully we have no army and don't go to war but I can imagine it was horrible during the WW 2...

This is ice on the floor. I guess it snowed inside, then melted and froze, there is no running water there :o)
