The French Hospital #1


This once served as a hospital in Faskrudsfjordur. The French built it in 1903 because there were so many French fishermen there. Later it was moved to this spot and was used for apartments. Now it is just falling apart but there are some people that want to move it to the original place and rebuild it.

Takk Begga. Þetta er svo sannarlega magnað myndefni og vindurinn og kuldinn gerði sitt til að gera þetta áhfrifaríkara. Þarf að kíkja þangað aftur við tækifæri, hafði bara 5 mínútur til að skjótast út úr bílnum í vinnunni :o)

Takk Gunnsteinn. Ég leitaði aðeins á netinu og hringdi svo í tengdó fyrir austan til að spyrjast fyrir um þetta hús, alltaf gaman að vita söguna á bakvið hlutina :o)
