This is the view I had at the start of the day in Hamrsfjordur, very beautiful and I was still warm :o)

There are a lot of great places here in Iceland to explore by kayak. Close to where I live we have a reservation area where there are no roads and people go hiking and kayaking to explore. Here you can see photos from a trip like that :o)

Hi Leslie. I work as a surveyor for the Icelandic Road Administration and sometimes I get "different" projects where I have to use boats, snow sleds, ATV's and even helicopters. Those days are often the most exciting ones :o)
